The plan is simple. I'll take a quad and a go cart then put em together to make a go-cart with the power and traction of a quad and the handing and feel of a speedy go-cart. My main goal here is not to finish this project, but to learn as much as I can during the time provided. I am surrounded by mechanic and welders all whom are willing to mentor me on how to use certain tools and drive different vehicles.
Below is the Suzuki LT230 from the late 80's which I have decided take apart and use to build and run this vehicle.

My workspace was small and kind of trashed, but it was sufficient for me to work so I am thankful for it. About half way through the project, I was able to upgrade my work station and now had clear ground, and a small trailer where I could have the frame to work on.
Apart from learning how to weld and cut metal, I also learned how to operate a small forklift and how to use an electric saw to cut metal underneath vehicles which needed parts cut off. Neither of these two things were difficult to learn, but I was told that the only was to get better is to practice at perfection and repeat.
