Chapter 2-
Arguing isn't fun. Arguing is something that could go from good to REAL bad in seconds. This chapter tells us that it is human nature to blame. to say THEY are the problem instead of realizing that there are always AT LEAST two sides to a story. We must step back and use the "And Stance" We need to see that maby you could be right, but they could also be right. if two people come to agreement and see the right and wrong in each person's doings, then you could calm down and neutralize it.
Chapter 3-
Another thing that is Human nature to do is ASSUME. if we see someone do / say something that we see as bad twords us we, many times, make the mistake of assuming their intentions. Again, you don't know the other person's point of view. this, as well as knowing that even if we intend to do good, it doesn't mean that they'll take it as if you meant good.
Chapter 4 -
The best way I could explain this is to see the situation from an outside POV. Look at what is happening, then look at what YOU did to cause the situation. Now look at what THEY did to cause the problem. you've got to have at least two people to cause an argument.
Chapter 5 -
Your feelings are a powerful thing. It could be very difficult to ignore them or put them aside. Today people are very sensitive and many times their emotions take over them, and there are emotions that are hidden under other more aggressive or explosive. (exc) fear --> anger / disgust --> worry / curiosity --> joy
Chapter 6 -
Now, when you ask someone, "who are you" or what is your opinion / POV?" and you're pushed on what you think, you might have what is called an identity quake. this is when a person overthinks things,on my opinion, and thinks to themselves TRAGIC questions. (exc) "Am I worthy of love" / "Am I a good person?" there are absorbers , people who think everything is their fault. and there's the opposite, people who think nothing is their fault. this is affecting you as well because it says you're either a passive or aggressive person when it comes to arguing.
